White Plains is one of the most popular cities outside of New York City due to its wide variety of shopping in malls like The Westchester, entertainment at the City Center and many small to medium sized restaurants. Many businesses have set roots in White Plains since it offers easy access to Manhattan (35 minutes by train) and more affordable office space as compared to New York City. Though the population of White Plains is less than 60,000 the city sees an influx of almost 250,000 workers and visitors on any given weekday.

As a city White Plains juggles a very diverse number of home styles including luxury condominiums at the Ritz-Carlton to co-ops, new homes and single family homes.
