There are a few ways to get an awesome deal on a home (new or otherwise) but the most sure-fire of them is simple: buy before, during or immediately after the holidays.
While everyone else is dancing through the whimsical store displays at Macy’s you’ll have your choice of homes for sale and few, if any, competing offers. This is especially true for new homes where builders often have move-in ready houses waiting for you to buy. The builder will want to close on the home as soon as possible and is far more likely to give you enticing incentives to make it happen before the end of the year.

Brighton Green is a townhouse community in the Town of Newburgh, NY. Home buyers can purchase a new home in Brighton Green with just 3.5% down (as little as $10,497 down) and get your closing costs paid for by the builder ($18,000 in closing cost assistance if you use Pulte Mortgage or $12,000 if you use any other lender).

Brighton Green in Newburgh is now offering one of their newly under construction homes, a Longwood model, for sale with structural upgrades, a box ceiling in the master bedroom and fireplace in the living room for just $319,115.
Brighton Green is an FHA approved community meaning you can buy a home with as little as 3.5% down! You must use Pulte Mortgage to buy the home at the above price though you can purchase the home using an outside lender for $341,990. January is off to a very strong start with many home buyers purchasing our spec homes built in 2008 and only a handful remaining.
The Longwood noted above is currently under construction and is expected to be move in ready by Summer 2009. We are in the final phase of construction at Brighton Green with only a few buildings left.
