Trains & Ferry

Rockland County offers two train destinations to New York City: Penn Station and Grand Central Station.
Penn Station*:
Sloatsburg
Suffern
*All trains in Rockland County New York go to Secaucus Junction where there is a PATH train available to Penn Station. They are not direct lines to Penn Station.
Grand Central Station/The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry:
In the Town of Haverstraw there is a ferry that travels across the Hudson River to the Ossining train station. Once in Ossining, commuters can board the train that runs directly to Grand Central Station.
Park & Ride Bus
Park & Ride Shortline Bus service to New York City is available in most towns and villages in Rockland County. Visit the Shortline Bus website to view schedules for specific towns.
